I got to try my hand at some fashion photography last weekend for a new digital magazine called Modesty With Style. It was fun to work with good models and to test my editing skills. We got some beautiful shots despite cool temps and high winds.

Dance pics

I got to do dance pictures for my daughters' dance studio Tip Tap Toes this week. I haven't finished the class pics but these are from my practice shoot. (I have to get parent's permission before I post any of the others but hopefully there will be more to come!)

I found this beautiful, obscure little spot betwen two subdivisions that was full of wild flowers. I don't know what kind of weed these turn into but any color is a welcome sight in Kuna. I have diven past this spot everyday for four years and never noticed it until the flowers bloomed. I brought along a friend and we got some super sweet pics.

Adam and Nathaniel

These two handsome, young men were some of the best mannered kids I have done pictures with. We took them at a park and it was fun to see how excited they got over turtles, geese, squirrels, and even a fish. They wanted me to get pictures of all the animals and bugs they found and I was happy to oblige.

Cool Trick!

I learned how to do something new! I'm so excited because I can combine three of my favorite things, photography, beautiful kids and music. Not to bad for a first try I think!

Welcome Kamden!

Believe it or not Kamden was only two weeks old when we did these pictures. He was also a week early but is a BIG boy. Between his size and the fact that he wanted to stay awake the entire session, he looks a lot older than he is. He was such a good, sweet baby and I had so much fun snuggling him. I love how soft baby skin is. I could have cuddled him all day!

Joleen

My friend Joleen is expecting her FIFTH baby in a few weeks now. Not only does she wear this baby well she assures me this baby's size is nothing compared to her last pregnancy with twins. If only we all could look so good, so very pregnant!

Shaylee

You know those moments when you look at one of you kids and heart swells up and you get tears in your eyes for no apparent reason. Your heart flutters and you think, "I am the luckiest mom in the whole world." Taking pictures of Shaylee in her baptism dress was like that for me. It is hard to believe my baby is so big. I am so very proud of her sweet heart, her natural creativity, and her inherent kindness. I am so very lucky to have such an amazing daughter.

Camry is such a cute baby girl. She is only seven months but could crawl like lighting and was determined to walk already. Her mom is one of my favorite people. Coincidentally her mom was the very state social worker that initially picked up our little Jake when he was taken from his birth mother because she had gone on a drug binge and had not returned to get him for days. It is so fun that we both got to celebrate having our new kids at the same time!
